Sifting tower for separating different sizes of crushed stone. I use this for getting the right size material for making custom rings. I found that printing this with PETG at .16 mm layer height with slower settings (I used the .16 mm optimal preset in bambu studio) gave me the best results. The filters need to be printed without top or bottom shells so that the inlay pattern is exposed and creates a filter like surface. I recommend that the filters be printed at .2 layer height for the most accurate print.
Approximate hole sizes for the filters (largest to smallest):
20% - 3.5 mm
25% - 2 mm
30% - 1.5 mm
40% - 1 mm
50% - 500 um
60% - 400 um
70% - 300 um
The 70% (300 micron) is not included directly in the print profiles and will need the infill % changed manually in the slicer.
Update 12 Nov 2024:
I have uploaded a print profile for the filters that includes honeycomb filters and grid filters for different aesthetics and use cases.
