A segmented display stand that was inspired by the filament spool display. Instead I created a full segment with a solid “shelf”. The segments can be stacked. I'm working on developing spacer segments to add space between each shelf. There is a base that can be put on the bottom. For the pictures instead I downloaded and printed the - Mini Turntable (100mm lazy susan) by logicalplanet | Download free STL model | Printables.com and it works great with some double-sided tape and some rubber feet (bought at Walmart cuz I haven't tried to print TPU yet)….. The shelf segments are approximately 7" which will allow me to display smalls if/when I decide to goto a farmers market, or small sale.
I printed with 0.15 quality, 3 walls, 20% infill and no brim needed. However, I would enable tree supports, touching build plate only so they print a small ring of them inside the spool to support the inner overhang that each spool rests on. If printing the separate segments as they are I recommend brim and tree supports for the overhang inside the spool segment. I'm hoping to soon have a larger shelf available to make a tiered design for a possible second display stand. Not sure where the top will be but I'm thinking even with the 100mm turn table on the bottom it should be stable with 6 segments at least. Depends on the weight and if the unit will be on a perfect level space. I'm thinking that cutting a piece of shelf liner for each to go on top of the shelf will keep things in place.
