I saw a post on the Facebook group “Woodworking for Beginners” by Günter Mühldorfer, so I drew one up that is easy for folks to edit.
This is a summary of the original post:

Box joints are one of the most basic techniques in woodworking. However, making them manually requires a lot of effort, and most of the available tools are expensive.
So I thought to myself, how can I make them as easy as possible with my Makita router? I came up with a very simple jig that is mounted as a ground plate to the router and makes really nice box joints in a single go.
The picture down here shows my very first attempt with the jig. Maybe some of you can use that as inspiration for your own. Of course, you can also make a wooden version without too much effort. Making box joints with such a jig is fun!
PS: I have added a drawing of the jig to this post. Unfortunately, the STL file can be found in a separate post, as I can't attach it to this one here.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
