Description
Sim racing is cool, but gear is expensive. That's why I try to get the most out of the most affordable stuff and build up my rig this way.
Simagic has a relatively open ecosystem and provides the P-HPR force-feedback actuators/shakers (https://shop.simagic.com/products/p-hpr) and an interface box that can be used for other products as well.
If you have a low-budget Fanatec CSL pedal set with a load cell brake pedal, I provide you an adapter to mount the Simagic actuators/shakers onto it. You only need SimHub (the Simagic ProSim Manager software is not needed, as I encountered) to set up the force-feedback effect you like on your brake pedal. For me, this is ABS, but the effects available are countless.
This adapter prints without supports, and you'll only need M4 insets (e.g., like these https://amzn.to/4fQ5o3K - affiliate link) as well as M4x20 screws (M4x25 should also fit).
I decided to go with longer M4 screws than those provided by Fanatec for mounting the footplates onto the brake structure, as those Simagic shakers can apply a lot of force and vibration. Better safe than sorry!
Those screws mount the adapter and the footplate onto the pedal, and you can adjust the height of both parts as you wish.
This project provides you with not only the print files but the entire Fusion 360 project. You can remix it to fit your setup.
I would very much appreciate it if you leave a like and post a make or remix.
