A simple little stand to hold my LNR Mountain Topper MTR4B QRP CW Transceiver on my desk. It can be orientated in a 30° or 60° angle for easy viewing. In fact I may even take it to activate a POTA so the transceiver sits nicely on a park table.  POTA I can carry a little more gear - Not sure about SOTA yet though.

There are similar models out there for the QCX/QMX mini qrp transceivers but not much for the MTR4B.  I have included the FreeCad file in case you want to tinker.  It is not perfect however the result was surprisingly satisfying (this is the only reason I am uploading it).

NOTE: I made it to include the rubber feet underneath the transceiver.  That way if you need to take it out of the stand you still have the protection under the radio's body.  I also added cutouts to cater for the BNC and other power, audio and paddle connectors.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

  1. MTR4B dimensions
  2. Cutouts to cater for the BNC and other power, audio and paddle connectors.
