The models are designed for two different Garmin watches, since the size and the position of the charging connector varies form type to type.

The two versions are for Gramin 'vivoactive 4' and ‘Forerunner 55’.

The design incorporates a circular cutout at the position where the sensor is on the backside of the watch. Without this cutout, the watch does not completely switch off the sensor, when the watch is on the stand! The other part of opening is for the charger connector.

When you are using another Garmin watch you could download and print the testfiles first to check, if this model fits to your watch.

For this, place the printed sample on the backside of the watch and check the position of the opening. Both, the sensor area and the charging connector have to be entirely visible.

In case you find out that one of the models works fine with other watches, please post it as a comment.

I recommend to use the “Cut [C]” option of the slicer to print it as two parts to reduce the size of supports. With connectors added in the slicer, the two parts can glued together easily after printing.

It turned out to be very important to add a “Support enforcer” to the higher end of the watch band rail. The support enforcers upper end should be as high as 23 - 24mm from the printbed!

This part of the watch band rail is printed without any connection to the rest of the model at the beginning. I had multiple prints where this part was displaced a little during print and not correctly connected to the rest of the model later on!
