I designed this case to be used with a common generic buck converter (the ones I use are located here).

It's well-ventilated to prevent overheating, with a solid cover top/bottom to prevent things from shorting or falling in. Slim, so that it can fit into almost all spaces the buck converter itself would fit in. The lid features cutouts for the display and potentiometer adjustment. Tolerances are pretty loose to accommodate variances in buck converter production, I tested between 4 that I have on-hand. Lid snaps into place, friction-fit is strong enough to prevent the lid from falling out/off on its own.

I trim the through-hole pins on my buck converters to where the solder ends (about 1mm past the board). You do not have to do this, but the lid may not seat fully down if you do not. You could potentially increase the verical height of your print to accommodate this. A solid body is also included if your printer has stringing issues, wish to design/cut your own ventilation, or you do not require ventilation (not recommended).

I printed case body and lid together in Overture PLA Pro at 0.22 layer height with a 0.6mm nozzle, it took ~40 min on my Ender 3 Pro.

This is my first original design upload to Printables, your feedback in any form is greatly appreciated!
