Magnetic Marble Run

Does you fridge look boring with all those stationary magnets? Spice things up a bit with a magnetic marble run!

Includes models for:

• Straight marble run
• Wiggly marble run
• Spinner + Spinner Bracket for the Straight marble run
• Marble catcher
• Magnet holders for 4 different round magnet sizes (12x3mm, 15x2mm, 15x3mm, 20x3mm)

Printing

• These are designed to print without support.
• 2 magnet holders will be needed per straight/wiggly marble run and marble catcher.
• The spinner bracket is designed to clip onto a straight marble run, so one straight marble run will be needed per spinner bracket/spinner.

Assembly

1. Print the marble run parts, and the magnet holders that match your chosen magnet size. (Designed so no support should be required).
2. Glue the magnet holders to the straight and wiggly marble runs, and the marble catcher, aligning the 45° chamfer on the pegs and magnet holders.
3. Glue the magnets into the magnet holders.
4. Enjoy!

Notes

• This has only been tested with 15x2mm magnets, so I cannot guarantee how well the 12x3mm magnets will work. The 20x3mm magnets would be ideal, to keep the marbles from moving the pieces too much during large drops.
