This is my version of a drybox for the cereal boxes that I got on Amazon (Link at the bottom)
You will need 608 Bearings, bought is best. Printed is possible, but make sure the dimensions are exactly the same. Make sure the bearings roll smoothly.
The bearings go into the round rollers and onto the axles of the frame. Some post-print filing of the axles might be necessary depending on your machine.
You can mount the rollers on the inside for small 250g spools and on the outside for bigger 1Kg spools. I will update a list of working spool brands as i use them and their width dimensions at the bottom.
Inserting a hygrometer is possible (link for an example at the bottom).
There is a container for Silicagel, the lid is screwed on with some M3 bolts.
I printed with supports under the axles and the hole for the hygrometer.
There are some PTFE tube fittings included as well, optionally one with a cap wich can be mounted on the bottom inside to seal the box from air while the tube is in use. You can than close up the tube afterwards by inserting it in the fitting with enough filament sticking out to pull it out the next time it is needed. (see example images)
All Parts have been designed by me in onshape, however i got a lot of inspiration while browsing Printables.com. If enyone feels like they deserve credit, feel free to message me.
There is still some flaws, but this version is usable for me. I will update with any improvements I make.
