Tripod Quick Release Plate

This quick release plate is designed to fit any standard tripod for cameras, providing an easy and secure way to attach and detach your camera. The model includes four parts: the plate, threaded rod holder, peg, and peg spring. Assembly is straightforward once printed.

The only additional part you’ll need is an M6 threaded rod, which should be no longer than 13mm in length—though 12mm is ideal. This threaded rod fits perfectly into the threaded rod holder, which has internal threading. You can additionally add some glue inside the holder to keep the threaded rod from unscrewing.

  • Wall loops: 2
  • Infill: 15%
• Peg:
  • Layer height: Adaptive (0.2mm works fine)
  • Wall loops: 2

• Threaded Rod Holder:
  • Layer height: Adaptive (0.2mm works fine)
  • Wall loops: 2
  • Infill: 15%
• Spring:
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Wall loops: 2
  • Infill: 15%

No supports are needed for any of the prints.

Material Notes:

• The plate, peg, and threaded rod holder were printed using PLA.
• The spring was printed in PETG due to its flexibility, which makes it an excellent material choice for spring applications.
