These slip on the end of the 30-pin SIMM socket and hold the SIMMs down. Helps to keep things working if you've broken the clips removing RAM in the past in your SE.
I've ensured that this will clear the PDS socket - so have fun!
These fit best if the clips on the rear sockets are broken. If they're not, you may have to trim off a bit of the support for a tighter fit. They'll still work, but wont insert as far under the socket.
To install: Slide the ‘foot’ of the clip under the side of the SIMM socket - note there's a small dimple inside the socket you need to work the clip past (this helps secure the clip). Best to insert at an angle (non-parallel to the side of the SIMM socket) and work it in. Once you start pushing it in, be sure to put some pressure on the SIMMs so they fit under the brace.
NOTE: Take care when inserting the board back in to the SE. It'll fit back in easily, but you need to align the board carefully and check clearances.
