If you're lucky enough to own a combi car, transforming it into a comfortable camper is easier than you might think! With just a few simple materials and a bit of DIY spirit, you can create a cozy sleeping space right in the trunk.

All you need are these custom 3D-printed adapters, M6x40 mm screws, M6 nuts, some metal support bars (I repurposed aluminum Thule roof rack bars), and four pieces of wooden flooring. The result? A snug and secure bed that's perfect for your next camping adventure.

Why four flooring pieces? They strike the ideal balance between stability and simplicity, ensuring a comfortable surface without complicating the build.

To make things even easier, I've designed a dedicated drilling template that ensures precise hole alignment for your wooden planks. You can find it here: Template for Drilling Holes for the Skoda Octavia.

The key to this setup is a small yet sturdy 3D-printed "U" bracket, which securely holds each piece of flooring in place over the roof racks, creating a stable and reliable base for your bed.

So, why wait? Get printing, grab your tools, and transform your car into the ultimate camping companion.

Happy camping!
