Handle variants help with sliding on a surface to pick up or rotate. Non-handle version is still adequately accessible and manoeuvrable, and fits within the footprint of a full tray (handles stick out of the footprint by a couple of millimetres).
Supports not required if short bridging and 45 degree overhangs are decent. I had no issues with PLA at speeds of up to 200 mm/s (0.2mm Speed profile on the Prusa XL).
