I'm proposing my girlfriend soon, I wanted to add a an LED and a ring holder to the model so I did a quick and dirty modification in the slicer.
Please check the original design here: https://www.printables.com/model/568840-art-deco-ring-box
I'm only able to add the modifications I made on the main body but i'm sharing the dimensions of the other parts in this description. I'll be updating this remix after I take the model to a proper software and modify it.
I put a square shaped hole in the middle part that goes all the way to the bottom, added a cylindrical shaped part and put a webdings heart on it, I then split a 0.5mm piece from the bottom off the main body and scaled the height to 5mm. Added all the necessary negative parts in the slicer and made a makeshift cap to hide the battery and the wires.
I soldered wires to a white SMD LED and ran through the hole, I glued the LED to the top part of the hole using a dab of CA glue. The negative parts I added are a perfect fit for a CR2032 battery and the wires running inside.
I printed this with eSUN mystic Silk PLA with 25% infill and 0.16mm layer height, but I didn't like it's shininess so I brushed the finished piece with a brass nozzle brush to dull it out. I'll be printing this again soon cause i didn't like the print quality, I need to slow it down and increase the print temp tad bit and instead of burning the stringing i need to clean it carefully cause they leave an ugly texture on the shiny surface, I'll update this post with the new images soon.
