Not only are these windmills a rotating piece, but they also serve as a decorative objects with unique, organic forms characteristic of Moebius' art. The model is an elegant addition to gardens, balconies, or any area where you wish to add some kinetic sculpture element.
Key Features:
Moebius Aesthetic: The design draws inspiration from the iconic and surreal style of Jean Giraud, adding an organic artistic touch to its functionality.
Complete Printability: All parts of the windmills are designed for 3D printing with no additional hardware, such as bearings, required.
Easy Assembly: The windmill is easily assembled after printing—just press-fit the stand onto any garden stake approximately 20 mm in diameter , and place the chosen rotor onto the stand. Instead of garden stake, there is 3D printed version provided, which can be pressed into garden soil or mounted with wood screws. Alternatively, stand can be press-fitted on provided plug which can be connected to any flat surface with single screw.
Rotors colection:
Organic Darrieus Rotor: This model is a fully printable vertical windmill, inspired by the artistic works of Jean Giraud (Mœbius), as well as upcoming Synergy videogame. It merges organic curves with practical design of Darrieus wind turbine.
CupPlant rotor added - Alternative, more organic/botanic rotor for the same stand. Should print ok without supports, and spin like cup anemometer. (For fast bedslingers - use holdfast verion to avoid printed model throw)
Archimedes Rose rotor added- Alternative, spiral rotor for the same stand. Should print ok without supports, and spin like Archimedes screw turbine (Liam F1 ), but converted to vertical axis. (Edit - spins fastest from these models, can randomly change spin direction)
