Magnetic slider fidget toy

Magnetic fidget toy. Not my invention - I modeled this based on one I bought from AliExpress.

You will need nine 6x2mm magnets. This tool or something similar is very helpful to press fit them: https://www.printables.com/model/595230-gridfinity-friction-fit-magnet-jig-palm-handle-rem You can change the parameters in FreeCAD if you want to use a different sized magnet.

Make sure the magnets are pressed all the way in so the slider moves smoothly. If they're not all the way in, it will catch on the edge which is very unsatisfying.
