I kept on hitting my head on the old glass diffuser-style light ceiling fan I had. I looked online but I couldn't find a single low-profile fan light kit that could use standard screw-in bulbs, I've tried the flat led panels that are available, but they don't throw the light as far as regular light bulbs do, so I made this fan light kit. It prints in two halves and the top half connects to the fan using the standard 0.4" threaded tube that the wires run though. The bottom half screws to the top using M3x30mm screws into heat-set inserts. You need to use the standard porcelain/ceramic style of light bulb socket, they are the only ones that will fit, they attach using a single M3x10 screw through the bottom of the socket into heat-set inserts in the top half. I have uploaded 3, 4, and 5-bulb varieties of this model, I like the 5 build for the amount of light I'm able to get using five 800-lumen bulbs. Also, I printed this in regular PA nylon, I would suggest you print it in something similar that is very heat resistant like PA, PC, or ABS/ASA. I used these Wago electrical connectors instead of wire nuts for the compactness of the wiring.
