Wheel Rim for Toddler Mobility Trainer (Go-Baby-Go IL)

This project, a collaboration between TOM Global and Go Baby Go Israel, features a Customization wheel rim with a range of leg connectors for tailored support.

The model is an extension for the "Toddler Mobility Trainer," or simply a tiny wheelchair. It includes simple extension components designed as add-ons for the project available on the TOM Global site.
 

Version 2:

Unlike version 1, this version features a solid rim and attachment that prevents the child from slipping into the wheel rim and securely attaches to the frame. It was designed by @alon From MakeLab.

Current Model Parts:

• Small Size Trainer: 26 cm wheel rim
• Large Size Trainer: TBD
• Adjustable Leg Connectors: A variety of connectors with adjustable heights to suit the Tiny Driver’s needs

To simplify printing, the rim features a horizontal cut, allowing the halves to be assembled with M3 20 mm screws and nuts. The rim attaches to the legs using M4 screws and nuts.

We are currently experimenting with several leg variations:

• Small Leg
• Medium Leg
• High Leg
• Deep High Leg: Designed to provide extra clearance if a child’s hand accidentally slips between the wheel and rim.
• Full Circle Rim and Leg: [Designed By Alon] Created to provide a continuous and complete barrier between the rim and the wheel.
