M3 screw sorter for M3 screws from 8mm to 40mm.

As much as I liked the idea of the actual featured model of the M3 sorter it was not working good enough for my bolts, because many sizes which I use were missing and the used angle did not seem to work well all the time. M3x6 bolts did not work for me there at all, for whatever reason, maybe because of the M3 screws I use mostly. I wanted to feed them from left to right direction too.
So I tried to make my own M3 sorter to have also the most used sizes and have a bigger case for the amount of screws I want to use with it.

I think I made up to 8 different prototypes until the actual result to get the M3x6 running good too, but without success. So I removed the M3x6 for this 1st version. I tried all these screws with the current solution as long as I think was the most reliable so far.

The top lid is planed to be replaced with one for M4 and maybe M5 screws too.
The new case is much bigger and can hold more screws and most important to me, it has 2 angles to let the screws better role in the rail and fall better into the holes like they should.
The idea behind this all is for a future project too: If I find some more time I want to make the feeding even fully automatic, so that you can just put some screws into a funnel and then the rest is automatically done… But this will take some more thinking and time of course… ;-)

Happy printing =)
