This is a remix to @davidd's excellent multiconnect system. This large thread connector connects to the Multiboard system firmly while allowing you to quickly add and remove multiconnect-compatible mounts. When threaded fully and into a vertical position, only one connector is needed (also helpful when only one connector is possible).
Differences from the large thread, side-printed, tool connector:
- Elongated to prevent rotation (when fully threaded) for single-connector mount scenarios.
- Retains the indent for locking and tool slots for tool removal.
- Side-print compatible for strength.
- Bidirectional to avoid over-torquing to reach the proper orientation (indent on each side for locking regardless of direction)
- You can also use your mounts as a tool (rotation clearance permitting)
I recommend 20% infill. No supports needed.
