Printed in ABS with my Voron 2.4.
For the heat inserts I used M4 with 5.5mm outer diameter and 4mm in length. The important part is the diameter of the insert as it is possible it won't bond good enough with the plastic with smaller outer diameter inserts. The length should ideally be the same as the the thickness of the plate. Which my 4mm long inserts were not, which made the inserts extend out through the plate's backside. It probably doesn't matter, just a slight annoyance as it doesn't look very nice when the part isn't installed.
Make sure your printer is properly calibrated when printing to avoid any issues when installing the adapter.
If printing in ABS make sure to calculate for shrinkage using your slicers settings as the part is not scaled with shrinkage in mind.
The author remixed this model.
As @YouennTroalic_298578 original model didn't have the exact same hole pattern for the screws connecting the adapter to the case and @YouennTroalic_298578 was kind enough and provided the step files for his model, I modified it slightly to fit the RM42300 case.
