This is a modified version of Justinas Petkauskas' Gridfinity Scotch Tape Dispenser. This iteration was created to accept ø2.25" rolls of Staples Invisible Clear Tape (Item #: 483535 | Model #: 52380P6).
Credit to Thingiverse User JSimcox for creating the Tape Dispenser Thingy.
Standard and magnetic versions are available, in addition to f3d and STEP files for easier modification.

| 20240811 | The cutter requires rework. It is my initial observation that this feature will need to be replaced by an actual blade which you would find on any normal tape dispenser. I had considered allowing it to accept a standard box-cutter blade, but this would not be very safe. I am actively searching for cheap alternatives from reputable vendors and I will update the design, change log, and BOM, in accordance with any alterations. Additionally, where the tape dispenser thingy interfaces with the holder could use some modification as it is too loose and would benefit from a snap-fit like action. |
