I had a lot of old cables that I wanted to recycle at a scrapyard. To achieve a better rice, I freed all the cables on the sheath to get the bare copper. Unfortunately, the cheap cable strippers from the well-known online portals do not work with a thinner diameter, so I have come up with this quick solution.
To complete it, three screws with nuts and a blade of a box cutter are used. I used old blades here.
The blade is inserted into the tool in such a way that the tip protrudes slightly in the cable duct. The screws where tighten to hold the blade at his position. When pulling the cable through, it is easily slashed and the sheath can be easily removed.
Depending on the diameter, the appropriate tool is used.
