Typhon Grom - Hobbywing 16BL30 Battery Tray ESC Mount

While installing the Hobbywing 16BL30 combo in my Typhon Grom, I couldn't figure out how to organize everything while still being able to lock the body in place. I run short CNBL 1500mAh packs so I don't need the entire length of the battery tray, so I tried installation it there.

Unfortunately the protruding receiver/switch wires were being pressed against the chassis with this arrangement, so I made this mount that doubles as a riser for the ESC while also re-routing the battery strap so it doesn't sit on top of the ESC and cause more heat buildup.

If you want clean wire organization in your Grom while running this combo, and assuming you also run shorter packs, this is for you.

Simply trim some padding out of the corner of the battery tray so the mount sits flush, route the battery strap in and out of the holes, double-side tape down the mount, then double-side tape the ESC to the mount.
