Boost fast for my home's 12 x 2-inch floor registers are not commercially available. This works well for boosting circulation at the ends of my HVAC runs. Once the passive register is removed, the booster assembly fits snugly into the exiting floor vent.
I used Noctua NF-P12 redux fans for nearly silent operation at full speed.
The fans are secured with M4 screws and heat set inserts into the 6mm holes.
The model is printable without supports if oriented with the top down. It was too large for my printer, so I used the slicer to cut it in half. During assembly, this allows the middle fan to hold it together, while I used hot glue to repair the seam. I used a 0.6mm nozzle with matte black PLA
You will need to power the fans using a 12v power supply and a fan splitter to power all the fans at once.
I used parts I had on hand, but this should work as well and has a speed control, although I have not tested this: Triple 3-Pin and 4-Pin PC Fan Power Adapter, 12V Fan Speed Controller,100-240vAC to 3-12vDC Adjustable Power Supply
