Wanted a filament wiper but didn't want to cut up my dishwashing sponges nor did I have any foam that was dense enough to hold onto the oil. An idea came to me to use the plastic fiber filter scavenged from a cigarette. If you know any smokers who can bum you a cigarette, you can pull the filter out of it with some pliers, stick it into the holder and shove a sharp filament through to force a path through the filter. Fits exactly 1 filter, friction fit.
! Do not use a smoked cigarette filter, get one from an unsmoked cigarette.
! Try not to use one that is from a flavoured cigarette that has the flavour pellet in the filter. You may have to dig it out of the filter and thus damage the external dimensions of the filter. Or it might burst one day and you have a nice smelling print, who knows.
Print in any material, 0.2-0.32mm layer height.
