Purpose of this device:
To install insulation in walls that have been flood cut 2ft or 4ft high. Maybe there never was insulation in your walls or maybe there was cellulose insulation that fell out or got wet.
There are few options when looking to replace insulation in walls without shelling the entire home. Very few of those options are a good idea if you suspect your home may flood again in the future.
This tool allows you to easily insert batt insulation all the way up the wall cavity without the need to cut out the rest of your drywall. You can also choose to leave a gap between the bottom of the wall cavity & the insulation in case your home floods often.
I used an older version of this tool I threw together a few years ago to install insulation throughout my entire house after flooding from a hurricane.
This version is a lot better.
