EVA3 Back Plate Tension Less Duet3D Tool Board

An EVA3 back plate without tensioning and mounting for Duet3D toolboard. This design will save at least 30g in weight.

Printintng

Back plate, fan mount and belt grabbers printed in Prusament PC-CF. CanBus cable mount printed in PETG.

Belt grabbers printed with layerheight 0.1 mm for better quality/strength.

Print orientation as shown in build plate picture.

Fan mount requires supports to print properly.

Threaded inserts

• M3 5.7 mm long x 5. Two for back plates upper tool board mount. Two for back plates CAN bus mounting. One at the topp of the fan mount.
• M3 4 mm long x 4.  Back plate takes three and the fan mount two on the sides. The upper belt grabber takes one in the lower left hole (will take the screw for tool boards lower left corner).

Mounting

The bottom left screw holds both the backplate and the lower belt grabber.

The lower belt grabbera top screw also holds the Tool Board.
