This is my model of an interpretation of 3D noughts and crosses (Tic-tac-toe) which aims to take the childhood game to the next level and dimension making a fun and more inclusive game for all ages. The bases is layering multi-sided/symbolled cubes together to form three in a row within a 3X3X3 cube (or more depending on the size of the game you wish to play) with different ways of wining as well as different playing modes, a few have been listed below:
To play the intended size, 27 cubes will have to be printed to accommodate for a 3X3X3 cube being formed but more or less can be printed for a variety of games. Within the files, there are 3 different styles with ranging difficulties of printing as well as 3 sizes for each model. (Note: When playing with style 2 there are separate cubes for each team to play with due to the nature of the design being biased.) I have included the Printing difficulties and basic settings in the table below:
| Model Name | Print difficulty | Supports | Bed adhesion |
| Style1NoughtsAndCrosses | Medium | Yes(Tree) | No |
| Style2 Noughts | Hard | Yes (if fine tuned No) | No |
| Style2 Crosses | Very hard | Yes (Tree self placed) | No |
| Style3 NoughtsAndCrosses | Very easy | No | No |
In my renders I've included a representation of a multi-colour print of the model that would be a really nice touch to add to the model and give it that extra flair. I'm planning to evolve this model further so follow for further updates. Please reach out if you would like .stp files to adapt upon the model and I would be happy to provide.
Happy printing!!
