Keychain/Portable Fork

You know how it goes: you grab a quick deli dinner or pull out your picnic lunch and release you don't have a fork. Then the rummaging begins—in the center console, in the cooler, between the seats—to find a stray plastic utensil. If only you knew where one was.

Well, you're in luck, because now there's one on your keychain.

This is a simple, foldable fork that fits on a keyring, carabiner, or in a pocket. It prints in place and locks in both the open and closed positions.

The fork may still need some small edits. Feel free to tweak the .step file and upload a remix!

PRINT SETTINGS:

• 0.2mm layer height
• Supports on build plate
• Variable layer height on the locking holes

The color change is optional.

IMPORTANT:

• Run a piece of sandpaper over the locking nub on the handle a couple of times to get it to the correct shape
• Use a small flat-head screwdriver to gently pop the top and bottom sections apart.

WARNING:

• This fork technically isn't food safe because of possible bacterial growth between the printed layers. Check out Prusa's guide for tips on making printed models food safe. Use with care.
