I wanted to get rid of the overhanging cut tape strips at the front of my LumenPnP pick and place machine.
I found two existing designs here but those did conflict with the LumenPnP feeder slot harness for the Photon Feeders of the recent LumenPnP versions.
So, I made a new one which is the same width as the LumenPnP Photon feeders and can be inserted into any slot of the feeder harness or elsewhere on the aluminum rail.
I also wanted to have a cover (existing ones were just open to the side) and finally added a slot for a small paper label to the top side.
The cover has a printed M8 thread and can be screwed to the main part.
Works for both 8mm or 12mm cut tape.
I printed in PLA (Overture PLA Professional) on a Prusa Mini+, 0.4mm nozzle and 0.15mm layer height.
Both parts do not require any supports. Make sure to place the cover with the flat side to the bed. I would recommend to use 3-4 perimeters for the cover to make the thread more robust. Not needed for the main part.
A .3mf File for the Mini+ is available or just use the STL files.
The paper label should be 40.5mm x 14mm.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
