Cubicle wall + IKEA SKÅDIS = 🤝

This mount is perfect to attach a SKÅDIS board to any cubicle wall (or basically anything flat and hard enough to handle hooks).

It helps adding a bit of personal touch in a corporate space.

Installation requires no tool, screw or glue.

TL;DR:

  • Use skadismount_parametric.scad to tune your model
  • Print at least two pieces
  • Mount your SKÅDIS board on your cubicle wall

Printing

Printing settings

  • Infill: 100% (can probably be reduced)
  • Printing duration: ~1h for two pieces
  • Layer height: 0.24mm (can probably be adjusted)
  • Support: no
  • Material: tested with generic PLA

Printing instructions

  1. Check carefully the following values before printing:
    • Distance between board and wall (update spacer)
    • Wall thickness (update board_t)
  2. Adjust all parameters in OpenSCAD based on your need.
  3. Export STL file from OpenSCAD.
  4. Your piece should be ready for printing.

Disclaimer

⚠ Despite this model is perfectly fitting my usage, and is supporting a typical load (SKÅDIS board + my stuff attached to it), it has not been strictly tested.

Nobody can guarantee it will fit your usage. Use at your own risks.
