If you always want to print from a filament dryer / bowden tube and rarely print from the factory spool holder:

I made this model because I like the look of the factory extruder shroud, but I wanted the ability to print from a filament dryer with the use of a bowden tube to guide the filament.

This bowden tube adapter allows you to mount an M10 bowden tube coupling to the top of an Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro extruder without the need to print a custom shroud. This is done by using the existing screws that are used to secure the shroud. When not using the bowden tube, it can be disconnected and filament can be fed through the M10 coupling.

No additional fasteners or materials required.

If you want the ability to print from a bowden tube and factory spool holder without the need to remove the filament tube from the extruder:

Another great option for my situation is a clip to hold the bowden tube on the factory filament spool holder. I was originally looking for this but did not realize it existed until I created my design. My design still works great if you prefer to always print from a filament dryer, but the design linked below allows you to feed the filament before the runout sensor, and allows other filament to be used on the spool holder without the need to remove the bowden tube from the extruder. Check out this design before making your decision:

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Removed shroud and modified bowden tube adapter to allow attachment to factory shroud. Also removed threading by widening hole for mounting of the M10 bowden tube coupling since it was very tight when I printed it. The M10 coupling will thread itself now.
