I've had a MARKFROST lamp base sitting around in a box for years - it's a really pretty base but without any way to attach a shade it's a bit blinding just having a random lightbulb sticking up out of it.

If you print this in vase mode, the hole in the bottom is just big enough to fit around the lamp bit that sticks up out of the base. It's tall enough to fit a normal e27 lightbulb.

If you use a candle bulb, it should fit through the bottom hole. If you use a normal adult sized bulb then it'll only fit through the top. I've found the easiest way to attach it is to put your hand into the shade, hold the bulb so it's sticking out the bottom of the shade, and then screw it in. Then after it's screwed in, shuffle the shade down onto the lamp base and take your hand out.

You can print it in colour to make a coloured light, or the coolest option is to print in white and stick a Hue bulb in it - the white PLA diffuses the light quite nicely!

I've also published two other versions of this - one tall with a twisted pattern, and one tall with a crisscrossed Homepod-style pattern.

Please please please don't put an incandescent bulb in it - that's probably a fire risk. Use an LED bulb that won't get too hot.
