8mm SMD component holder

An all printed, 3 piece 8mm cut tape holder. Simple yet effective design.

I wanted a a component holder that contained the cover tape and had room for a barcode sticker and component numbers. The component tape just hangs over the edge of the table.

Assembly is simple, just a dab of super glue to assemble the spool. I just hot glue the assembly down to my table side-by-side. You may need to increase the spool & spool cap by a few % if your printer's tolerances are on the loose side.

Print with NO SUPPORTS. Very minor bridging. You can use whatever filament is handy, I used PETG to give the spool "spring" a slight amount of flex.
