I have only printed the “more support” variant as yet, and supported the entire “upper” shelf, with the connectors facing upwards.
I made a “less support” version, and had to modify the connector nibs a bit, as well as changing the geometry of the inset front text slightly, but, it looks good on the slicer and, I am guessing the text will look fine from most angles. Set the flat part on the bed and support the dropped sections that run on either edge to keep it from falling down, and I'd use a brim too.
A screw can be driven through the hole, all the way to the back, with a long enough screwdriver, and into the wall.
