My experience eating icecream at the beach has taught me to be cautious for thieving seagulls. These cheeky birds swoop in and, in flight, take a serious bite out of your icecream. My wife then coined the idea of making a protective umbrella that keeps these thieves at bay. The colours of the canopy were chosen on the basis of some ideas on the internet that seagulls dislike yellow and red. No idea whether any of that is true, I never bothered asking a seagull, but it doesn't hurt. Feel free to pick other colours if you have different intel ;-)
As said, you print the canopy sides twice, a different colour each time. I did not need any supports, used PLA 0.2 layer size and it came out great. You may need a small brim if your bed adhesion is too weak.
Print the ribs and top in a dark colour. Again, I used PLA, 0.2 layer height. I only put a few small supports under the tongues of the ribs (which fit in the grooves in the top).
Print the spoon in white, supports not necessary, 0.2 layers is fine.
Because of the compactness of the parts and depending on the tolerance of your print, you may need a bit of superglue. You first put the right side ribs on each of the canopy sides with a dab of glue. Then, one by one you insert the tongues of the ribs into the grooves of the top part. Make sure the rectangular hole is on the underside of the umbrella. Each time you add a canopy side with a rib attached to it, put a dab of glue on the open edge of the canopy part that is already attached to the top.
When the glue is dry, you put the spoon in the rectangular hole on the bottom and you're done.
