This is an alternative to the traditional “bar” light. Prints in PETG or CF composite with no supports in the orientation seen on the .3mf file (Top of the light on the heat bed).

I printed it in PA6-CF on my Creality K1C just because it was already loaded in the machine, but I'm considering changing it to Prusament Galaxy Black. The bracket screws into the frame with M3X6 screws X3 - I had some left over from assembling the kit.

Contains an internal channel for a small DC wire and has space for a short LED light strip. I opened the Ext-mount on the xBuddy box at the front (just clipped out the corner) and there is a hole to pass the wire through the electronics box to guide it neatly along the bottom to a discreet place for the connector to live - on the PSU side for mine. Connected to 12v external power supply or 24v from PSU if you have 24 LEDs is also possible.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN WIRES PASSING THROUGH THE ELECTRONICS BOX - OBSERVE COMMON SENSE - if in doubt, go around and just have an extra wire behind the machine.
