♠♥♣♦ Outdoor Playing Cards ♠♥♣♦

3D printed playing cards for outdoor activities. Durable, washable, and customizable. Poker, Rummy and not Uno, …

Introducing the "Outdoor Playing Cards" set – the perfect addition to your outdoor adventures! This set includes all standard playing cards: numbered cards from 2 to 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, and Joker. Becauss they are 3D printed, these cards are ideal for any outdoor activity. Whether you're at the beach 🏖, on a camping trip🏕, or enjoying a backyard game with kids, these durable cards are built to withstand the elements🌦.

Thanks to their plastic construction, the cards are washable 🧼 and significantly more robust 💪 than traditional paper cards. They can be buried in sand, dropped in sticky liquids, or thrown around without worry. And its way more unlikely that they are blown away by any wind. Plus, if a card ever gets damaged or lost, reproducing it is a breeze.

Each card is composed of two separate parts: a front and a back. For a complete Rummy deck, you would need to print the back side a total of 106 times (52 regular cards x2 + 2 Jokers) and each front side twice.

Please note that these cards do not match the exact dimensions of standard playing cards. Printing them thinner could make them too transparent, potentially revealing your hand to opponents.

Printing Settings
  • Nothing Special - No Supports or whatever, print them as you want.

For a ✨ shiny effect, I used a PEY print plate. After all, why shouldn’t every card in the deck look like a legendary special edition? 🤓 I used white PLA for the front side and purple PETG for the back.

Sizes

Back: 64mm * 89mm * 0,72mm

Front: 60mm * 85mm * 0,7mm

Required Materials
  • Glue (to bond the card elements together)
  • Filament for the front side
  • Filament in a different color for the back side

Assembly

Put both front and back side on your table. Decide which side of your front part is its back side and add some glue. For a nice view its recommended to use the top layer as back side. Flip the card over and snap in at the anker points. Because of the glue its recommended to wear gloves while this procedure.

As you can see on my pictures, the glue makes some dark taints on the cards. I'm fine with that, but if you want to avoid that make sure that you add always the same amount of glue and pressure on your cards. Maybe you will need a few tries to find a nice balance between enough glue and less taints.

The “not uno” set

Additionally, I've created another card set. Inspired by the classic Uno, this set features similar gameplay mechanics but with its own distinct flair. Instead of shouting “Uno” when you’re about to win, you’ll proclaim “IMBA” or “IMBA IMBA” to claim victory!

Included Models:

  • Numbers 1 to 10
  • +2
  • Skip
  • Reverse
  • Wild
  • +4

To create your deck, you’ll need filament in multiple colors:

  • One color for the background element
  • One color for the neutral cards (Wild and +4)
  • Four (or more, or fewer, but at least two) additional colors for the regular numbered cards

The process is similar to my other card sets: print sufficient quantities of background elements, print the front side elements, assemble the cards by gluing them together, and you’re ready to play!

Remix

I've also included the file “blank4remix.stl” 💿- a blank card if you wish to create your own card deck…
