My other attempts at a mic hook didn't work out as well as I had hoped, so I made another attempt at a different location. This one seems to be working well for me.

This hook slips into the hole for the arm rest latch, so it is positively captured when the arm rest is closed. It keeps the mic right in front of the arm rest, out of the way, yet completely reachable when needed. It also requires less cabling than many other locations if you (like me) mount the radio itself under the passenger seat.

Printed in PETG, seems to be working well so far.

I provided 2 versions. The first (v6) has a tendency to cam out a little when removing the mic from the holder, which I didn't like, but it does generally work and is a smaller profile. The second (v7) has an additional frame that goes around the latch hole so that when closed, the armrest provides positive pressure to keep the hook in place. I prefer  and am using v7.
