Refer to the ISS Model Instructions to understand how the modules relate to each other and various module pictures. Detailed step by step instructions are not provided as that would take many months to attempt. It is best to print and build each module one by one before attempting to combine them. Some of the more transient modules can be press fitted and not glued so that future modifications can be made to track the current configuration. More modules are planned such as the AMS, Cygnus, Dragon capsule and Progress.
This model has over 4,000 printed parts. Due to the complexity, the model is divided into three parts; the truss, the Russian Orbital Segment and the US Orbital Segment. The instructions, common parts and truss parts are included in this main model along with overview pictures.

Their model is all grey, rather crude and is automated using servos to mimic the actual ISS movement. Within their STL file directories are some high definition files that were used in this model. These files were modified so various parts could be printed in realistic colors. I created the entire truss structure and realistic solar panels along with some of the modules that did not have high def parts. This is also a static model.
