I was dissatisfied with the supplied extruder and its cooling components. This prompted me to gradually improve and replace everything. 
The models are the results of countless experiments, ideas and findings.

These components enable you to do the following:
- Replace the roller-based support of your X-axis with linear rails
- Replace your titan extruder with an H2 extruder (Direct, Dual Gear, All-Metal, Lightweight)
- Use the H2 with your existing High Flow Volcano Nozzle
- Upgrade your 4020 fan to a 5015 blower fan
- Use the “LEO” fan duct, which I designed inspired by the shape of the new Prusa MK4S 360° fan duct and managed to simulate the airflow quite optimally
- Replace your Sidewinder X2 PCB with a USB or CAN connected Biqu EBB42 CAN board
- Replace the original Z Probe with the Biqu MircoProbe or the Biqu Eddy Inductive Sensor
- You can combine everything together, remove individual parts or design your own

Needed Material

Rails

to use when you are switching from wheels to rails

  • 2x MGN9H (I ordered 360mm, but I am pretty sure, 350mm length is totally fine)
  • You can use 2 printed Mounted Blocks X-rails for adjustment during tightening
X-Carriage Rail (2x)

to use when you are switching from wheels to rails

  • 8x M3x8mm (to mount on top and bottom mgn9h carrier)
  • 4x Brass inserts (M3, outer diameter 5mm, to mount extruder carrier front) 
X-Carriage Rail Front

to use when you are switching from wheels to rails

  • 4x M3x8-12mm (to mount on printed X Carriage Rail top/bottom parts)
  • 4x Brass inserts (M3, outer diameter 5mm, to mount extruder carrier front) 
  • 2x Brass inserts (M3, outer diameter 5mm, to mount BIQU Eddy, optional)
H2-Adapter SWX

to use if you stay with the original aluminum wheel carrier from Sidewinder X1/X2 or Genius Pro

  • 3x M3, 6mm, Round Head, optional 3x washer
  • 2x M3, 8mm, Round or Cap Head, optional 2x washer, mount BIQU H2 extruder
  • 2x Brass inserts (M3, outer diameter 5mm, mount 5015 blower fan)
  • 2x M3, 18mm (mount blower fan)
H2-Adapter Rail

to use if you replaced your wheel carrier with the rails above

  • 4x M3, 6mm, Round Head, optional 4x washer
  • 2x M3, 8mm, Round or Cap Head, optional 2x washer, mount BIQU H2 extruder
  • 2x Brass inserts (M3, outer diameter 5mm, mount 5015 blower fan)
  • 2x M3, 18mm (mount blower fan)

H2 SWX2 PCB Adapter

to use with original Artillery Sidewinder PCB

  • 2-3x M3, 22mm, (mount adapter to right side of the BIQU H2 extruder)
  • 2-3x Brass inserts (M3, outer diameter 5mm, mount original Artillery Sidewinder X2 PCB)
H2 BIQU EBB42 Adapter

to use if you replaced your original Artillery Sidewinder PCB with the BIQU EBB42 CAN

  • 2-3x M3, 22mm, (mount adapter to right side of the BIQU H2 extruder)
  • 2-4x Brass inserts (M2.5, outer diameter 3.5mm, mount BIQU EBB42 CAN PCB)
MicroProbe Adapter

for use with the BIQU MicroProbe V2.0. You can install it directly in front of your nozzle, in the center position, or you can choose the two right holes instead. 

  • 2x M3, 6mm
  • 2x Brass inserts (M2.5, outer diameter 3.5mm, mount BIQU MicroProbe V2.0)
Fan Duct “Leo”

to use with the X-Carriage Rail. To use it with the original wheel carrier you can try to turn bottom wheel screw head from back to front - but I did not test this. Feel free to give feedback.

Fan Duct “Viper”

must be used if you stay with the original aluminum wheel carrier from Sidewinder X1/X2 or Genius Pro. There is the screw of the bottom wheel behind it - so the symmetric fan duct “leo” will probably not fit. 

Fan Duct Adapter Interface

to design and adapt your own fan duct.

This is the top part of my fan ducts and probably your customization or your own design. It snaps into the H2 Adapter SWX or H2 Adapter Rail and is already positioned correctly in the room - for the Volcano Nozzle variant. 
This means you should start by adjusting the z position accordingly for other nozzles.

The offset of the center of the interface air outlet to the center of the H2 extruder hotend / heat break outlet is: 
x: 0 mm, y: -30 mm, z: 2 mm

 

Probe Offsets

  • BIQU Eddy (x: 34 y: 23.2 z: 2.5) → According to BTT documentation use z-offset: 1.5, according to Klipper documentation use: z-offset: 0.5 instead.
  • BIQU MicroProbe V2 - Center Position (x: 0 y: -23 z: 1.36) → Calibrate z-offset.
  • BIQU MicroProbe V2 - Right Position (x: 27 y: -23 z: 1.36) → Calibrate z-offset.

 

Compatible to BIQU / BigTreeTech H2 Extruders - attached Fanduct is made for Volcano Nozzle/Hotend. You can use the original Hotend from Sidewinder X2.
