Water Drop Microscope

 

This Print Requires:

Helpful items:

pipette (Not Required)

 

Instructions:

  1. Print all items
  2. Pull all supports and stray strands of fillament from the prints
    1. The lenses will need some additional detail depending on your printer settings
  3. Glue 50x50 mirror in place on the mount
  4. Place one drop of water in the focus top
    1. do not use more than 1 drop this will effect the view of the lens as well as the water tension holding the drop in place
  5. Begin to screw it into the focus bottom
    1. this does not need to be screwed in completely
  6. complete step 4 for one of the desired lenses from plate 3 and place on top of the focus
  7. place your specimen on the clear plastic over the viewing hole and place down your microscope to hold the specimen in place
    1.  
  8. Place the focus an top of the the mount and turn on your light
    1. adjust view and lens till object comes into focus

 

 

Notes: This is not perfect and results may vary. Please be patient when attempting to magnify your first specimen. If you don't expect to put in a bit of work just buy a microscope on amazon.

  2. The brightness of your light
  3. Pour focus and location of lenses
  4. Printer settings and alignment
