INTRODUCTION
This modified rear cover for the Voron V0 was designed to address 3 issues: -
- Allow more air in and out of the rear chamber
- Complement EMS V0.2 from a design aspect
- Removed the need for hardware (preloaded M3 hex nuts and M3x8 BHCS screws)
THE DESIGN
The design is a direct replacement for the rear cover. You will need the bigger fan which we currently support the 8010 and 92mm standard PC fans.
BOM
- 8010 24V Fan
- 4 x M3 hex nuts
- 4 x M3x20 BHCS
INSTALLATION
- Insert the M3 hex nuts into the EMS rear panel. These should be press fit and hold in place.
- Insert the 8010 fan into the Fan Cover and ensure that the back of the fan is facing inwards. This will pull fan into and over the electronics keeping them nice n cool. Align the wire to point out towards one of the 3 cut out directions of the cover
- Use the M3x20 BHCS screws to secure the fan to the EMS back cover. The screws should go through the fan cover → 8010 Fan → EMS back panel into the M3 hex nuts.
- Pre-load the 6 x 1515 keys into the EMS back panel.
- Align to the Voron V0.2 frame and lock.
- ENJOY!
