It fits a mini volt meter and a small rocker switch to check the voltage when needed. Since super caps don't have a lot of capacity I don't recommend leaving the voltmeter on all the time as it will deplete them within the day.
I wanted to keep it cable-less so I opted to use a XT90E-M connector so I can plug in one of my sets of 10GA XT90 cables I have.
It was designed to use 2.5mm heatset inserts but you can use 3mm screws if you want to go that route. I do recommend heatset inserts for the XT90E-M to mount with since that will experience a significant amount of force.
Once upon a time I used to use this very set of super caps to start a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria with a 4.6L V8 without the battery installed and they will indeed start that V8 without battery assistance. I used it for awhile with a lawn mower battery for the capacity and it worked a treat. However, I eventually upgraded to BCAP3000 (3000F) super caps which were a new league altogether (Can start a large diesel V8 RV engine).
