IKEA NÄVLINGE lamp magnetic mount

A mount I designed to attach the Ikea Navlinge lamp to the side of my desk. I created 2 versions - with 4 or 2 20x5mm magnets. I ended up using 2x 2-magnet version as I found that setup to be more sturdy.

Assembly

1. Put some glue into the magnet holes and insert the magnets (20x5mm). I recommend using 2-part epoxy.
2. After the glue sets, insert the lamp into the vertical holes. Make sure you use the side where the hole chamfered - it will make inserting much easier.
3. Enjoy your new magnetically-mounted lamp! Pair it with some magnetic cable organizers at your leisure.
