This is a silly case for a Heltec v3.1 LoRa Meshtastic radio. There was a severe lack of llamas in the meshtastic world.

This features a spot for a rotary encoder at the tail, and the antenna is entirely internal if being used with the short stubby one most people seem to have for the heltec radios.

Components I designed this radio around
Radio: Heltec v3.1
Antenna: TE Connectivity Linx - ANT-916-CW-HW-ND
Rotary Encoder: Konohan -  B09KNC1J6H
Screws: M2.5 of at least 4mm length
1100mAh battery fits best

Antenna is a half wave center-fed dipole. Most antennas utilize the person holding the radio as the ground plane and if you're not going to be holding on to the case and have it in a backpack or pocket then there's no ground plane. This antenna being a center fed dipole doesn't have those issues and provides very good performance regardless of being held in the hand or in a bag.

The rotary encoder (twisty knob) is just your run of the mill EC11 5 pin. The dimensions are 12.5 by 15 millimeters but the case should accommodate other sizes.

There are a bunch of other utilitarian and purpose built cases that are very nice and functional, but this was just a fun CAD practice project and hopefully it is enjoyable to others.
