Parametric VEX VRC License Plate (Blank) (Updated)

This file is a one to one replica of the VEX V5 license plates with modifications to the mounting holes to accommodate a 3D printer with a 0.4mm or 0.6mm nozzle.

How to use this file:

• Download the .step or .f3d and open it in a CAD program of your choice (Fusion 360 is shown in the attached images)
• Edit the sketch labeled text:

• Type in your team number:

• Click on “Finish sketch”
• Extrude the text to the height of the license plate by selecting the sketch profiles and the top edge of the plate:

• Export to STL:

• Open in a slicer of your choice (PrusaSlicer is shown)

• Slice and set color change at layer height:

• Export GCODE.
