SnapCap LED Canister REMIX

I really liked the SnapCap Canister model by AuxArc. I printed several pieces for children and family. I recently bought glow-in-the-dark filament. I decided to experiment and equip the model with LED light. The model is enlarged x 1.4, which allows you to fit a LED candle with a diameter of 38 mm and a height of 26 mm in the lower chamber, after removing the "flame" from it. The lamp is glued with polymer glue. To mount the handle in this scale, I used M4x10mm screws. I used a candle with a delicate light - I wanted to have an atmospheric lamp for camping. However, you can also use more powerful lamps, for example from projects from Printables. I also tried with a red and white flare lamp. When using glow-in-the-dark filament, the effect is great. It is important that the filament is transparent.

Bardzo spodobał mi się model SnapCap Canister, autorstwa AuxArc. Wydrukowałem kilka sztuk dla dzieci i rodziny. Niedawno kupiłem filament święcący w ciemności. Postanowiłem poeksperymentować i wyposażyć model w światło LED. Model jest powiększony x 1.4, co pozwala zmieścić w dolnej komorze świeczkę LED o średnicy 38mm i wysokości 26mm, po zdjęciu z niej „płomienia”. Lampka jest wklejona na klej polimerowy. Do montażu uchwytu, w tej skali, wykorzystałem śruby M4x10mm. Zastosowałem świeczkę o delikatnym świetle – chciałem mieć nastrojową lampkę na biwak. Jednak można także wykorzystać mocniejsze lampki, choćby z projektów z Printables. Próbowałem też z czerwoną i białą lampą typu flara. Przy zastosowaniu filamentu świecącego w ciemności efekt jest świetny. Ważne, żeby filament był transparentny.
