Ping2 Sonar Scratch Protector

When Ping2 Sonar/Echosounder is mounted on to the BlueBoat with the integration kit, its transducer face is facing very close to floor surface, this risks the sensor face to get scratches during handling of the BlueBoat. When the BlueBoat is folded, and stored in the back of a car, the Ping2 is bulging to the top… and usually other luggage are also stored on top of the BlueBoat, this also risks the Ping2 transducer face to get scratches.

The Scratch Protector's main function is to protect the Ping2 open transducer face from scratches, and so that a BlueBoat with a Ping2 can be more durable during handling and transport.

We were using the BambuLab X1 Carbon when printing this model, with PLA+ filament (15% infill & 0.16 layer height). After printing, we stick some 2mm rubber feet (as needed) on the scratch protector's transducer face-side and the housing back-side (see picture).

We're happy with the function of it..!
